Coast Revenue Tonnage Market Share In the table below, the column labeled "Percent of Coast" represents the cargo tonnage as a percent of the coast total for that sector. This percentage represents what is commonly referred to as "market share". The six major ports listed below handled 86.8% of the total coast tonnage in 2017 and 99.1% of the containerized cargo.
